Hi guys, I really need help here. I filed for my PR application in July 2014 under CEC, I received my medical in March 2015. When I check the status it says application received in July 2014, we started processing in Oct 2014, medical reports have been receiving. There is no update after my medical, its been already 5 months. Also my LMO work permit is getting expired on 15th Oct 2015.
Am really stressed, what should I do ?
Any suggestions please ?

Did you apply for your GCMS notes? If so, what does it say? Your application went to second review?

It says me these things:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 14, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on October 3, 2014.
3. Medical results have been received.

Hi guy,
No worry. You can apply your workpermit extension before your workpermit expire. So status called as implied status. In the implied status you can work with your current employer as legally without getting lmo. Then you can apply visitor visa for six months. In the mean time hopefully you can get pr. Best of luck

Hi guys - I received my first GCMS notes today and everything seems to be fine.... recommendation is "appears to meet the requirements".

Eligibility - In Process (probably because it's an update from Mar'2015 and nothing after that)
Security - Not Started
Criminality - In Process
Medicals - Passed

Under Eligibility > Eligibility Assessment > Eligibility Assessment 1, it shows Status as "Recommend Passed". Nothing averse found in the notes section as well. And, they have info recorded on my upfront RPRF payment too.

The only thing I noticed worth mentioning is that Security and Criminality sections have due date of 13-Sep-2015 (which is 12 months from AOR).

Do you guys suggest I write to CIC for a status update on my application around mid-Sept? Not sure where the hold-up is! ::)

Hi,

I don't think the due date means anything. Other people also mentioned that. Most cases the due date is one year from the AOR date. But it is possible that you will be still waiting after the due date.

I'm a June applicant, and my first GCMS notes shows "recommended to pass" as well. And the due date is July 29th, 2015, which is one year from the AOR date. But I have not heard anything from CIC. Not even MR.

Thanks.. I too have seen others having due dates aligned with 12 mnths from AOR but my question was really around if sending a follow up email would help or not? The comments on the notes section completely validate the fact that all my documentation is complete so was wondering (I know we all are) when will it move forward! :-X

For your application, is it under second review as it was the case with lots of June guys? It may not be since you mentioned "recommended to pass" but have you gone through all the pages just to reconfirm...

You can try to send an email. But I'm not sure if CIC would actually see it. My lawyer sent CIC a couple of emails to ask my status but no reply at all.

My GCMS notes does not say "Review required by the officer". It says the same as yours "Appears to meet all requirements" and "Recommended to pass". I called CIC last week and one call center guy said my application was not under 2nd review. But my first notes was back in April 2015. I ordered it again at the beginning of August, and may receive it 3 or 4 days later. I will see what is going on.

Thank you for asking. :)

Thats strange After Friday no one received any MR. Dont know what CIC is doing just wasting our time.
