I would like to thanks to Almighty , my family and forum members who support me in every step of this critical process.

Already submitted my passport to VFS delhi today at 3:30 pm for stamping... now waiting for passport return back..

Hi All

I have been a silent viewer of this forum.
I sent my application on 14th july and still waiting for my Ecas to be updated with 2nd line update.

But i did get an email from my VO on 14th March i.e NDVO and they asked for proof of funds again as my bank statements showed that I have a loan against my name. That is a home loan and i sent CA report with updated status of my funds to VO.

My documents were delivered on 23rd March and i sent them an email stating that i have sent the required documents.
Awaiting their response since then and my ECAS Status is still not updated with 2nd Line.

Hoping for Medicals once they review my financial reports again. I dont know how long the process will be delayed now

I am a July 4th 2014 applicant and rec PER 17th November. No MR and no 2nd line update either, waiting patiently on LVO. Lots of patience is required Hope us July applicants hear soon

Congrats........did you went personally to submit your passport.or can we go personally to submit the passport....

CIC ask for exact fee as it's not feasible for them to send you change especially if you sending a draft/money order. In your case, I could see two possible outcomes:
1 - VO shall encash your draft of $550 (each person) and won't give you remainder back which is $60 times # of people on your application.
2 - VO shall return your draft and ask you to make a new one with correct amount; very unlikely they'll go with this option although there is a slim possibility.
If VO goes with 2nd option expect few weeks delay in your PPR, nothing more serious.

you cannot submit your passport personally.. the best option is go for VFS canada which is located in International Trade Tower at Nehru Place if you are in new delhi..

Also, did you have to show proof of funds if you got PR as skilled worker?

I too hoping the decision made is positive. i have seen others getting their application rejected after the status changed to decision made. if there are no problem with PCC and background checks i think we will make it to the end. so hoping for the best. be positive. The Lord will surely bless us.

Hi Deep,

As per my knowledge if you have obtained the PCC after or on the day of leaving the country, it is valid for life time. No need to get a new one. But still ask seniors on the main forum... I am sure they would be able to answer your query.
