Actually Anne I'm not really sure about that one.I think it really depends on the visa consulate officer who will review your application.As you can observe,there is no consistency on how they evaluate the thousands of applications they are receiving.But for me,I think you don't really need to show proof of funds.Why?It's because we are going there in Canada as workers and we will be compensated for that.So we will use our salaries to cover up our daily expenses.And I believe that's already an enough proof that we can have our source of income

antonettegarcia is right.. actually that was my confussion before, because i experienced a refusal 6months ago for sponsored visit visa TRV, I made some phone calls in relatives/friemds in canada about the same issue, everybody told me its not an issue because we are going to work there not a tourist, as well as my employer told me directly that it would not be necessary because contract/offer and salary every month as a worker would be enough to settle and support our livings there..so its a common knowledge... and besides in ABUDHABI CIC website its not on their checklist ;D

Hi Henz.I received the same email from the embassy except for one line "The processing of your application will be finalized shortly".After 4 days,I got my passport back with visa stamp already.Maybe on your case,you have some signatures missing on your application forms or some documents missing or the embassy wants to ask some additional info from you.But let's hope there will be no more conflicts on your application.All the best for you Henz!

antonettegarcia; thanks for the positive vibes it helps.. my employer sending me messages everyday morning and evening and assuring me it will be done however we all knew that its beyond his hand and control, he told me worry not because he is continously talking to his people (friend or whatsoever) in the house of commons federal in canada itself but still it depends on VO i believe. keeping my fingers cross its a mixed emotions and really terrible rockin nerve in waiting for unknown..

They didn't contact me till now. This email from embassy was sent to me Sept20. My documents was submitted July 12 but I had asked for return of my passport last August for renewal. It maybe a delay since I applied for an FCA position and I dont have experience to it since I am working as office personnel. If visa will be granted it would be a blessing since I am not expecting so much on it. Keeping my faith to God.. I will post my status whatever their reply. Godluck to all!!!

.Don t worries Anne everything will be god’s perfect time. I am also waiting from July it s been 12 weeks past no replay from embassy in CIC Abu Dhabi .as I am different citizen married in Philippines , I only submitted my marriage certificated from National statistics’ office from Philippines and some of wedding photo. Is this fine? Really appreciate
