If you are in Canada and are applying for GCMS notes for yourself, then it costs nothing. Just do it under the Privacy Act instead of the Access to Information Act.

me too had two employment during one year, at the time of hiring I assured my employer that I will get my PR very soon now my WP is expiring early next year and my employer is bugging me every week about my PR status, but cant give him any answer, it makes me look so stupid I just pray that God give some senses to these VOs, they will let thousands of people in on refugee and other classes but those who are already in and well settled they are coming up with every possible reason of rejection. Really, Canadian immigration system is such a mess, it would be much better if they simply stop accepting applications at all we would have gone to europe or Australia and not have made such a fool of ourselves,

Same here...I applied as a student but have reference letters from 2 full time employers and I also sent information n reference letter for my part time work...All of my work responsibilities n NOC code is good....I think 2 different employers in 12 months might have made suspecious/confused the VO... whatever it is...waiting is killing...haven't seen my family in last 18 months...everybody asks about PR so almost stopped calling family n friends...as I do not have any satisfying answer for their concerns...

Looking forward if GCMS notes can help...

I could see some really good career options but cant move an inch without PR....people in personal n professional circle think I must have done something wrong/stupid at the time of application....hard to explain...but I know everything is perfect in my application.....than why this delay....my ex-employer n employer both keeps telling me that CIC havn't contacted them yet....n in one of the email vo said my file is under review...not sure what they are reviewing so long....

You are not alone. I am in Canada for almost 3 years now, working all this time and still no PR - WP will be over soon. My former FSW application from 2007 was put to trash without review by the backlog elimination law which passed last year and I am now waiting for CEC (which might be also rejected anytime due to some other stupid bureaucracy issue). That's the price you pay when you immigrate, nothing to do about it.

Exactly so. Welfare payouts and refugee acts are rights. PR following rules/job experience/paying taxes is a privilege

i have a random question about names.

in everyday life, i use an english name that is not in my official documents (birth cert, passport etc)~

in my PR application, i did not fill this english name as my "nickname" or "alias"...

is there any way that i can add this name to my (future) PR card or something? i would like the english name to appear in an official document of some sort.

nikkit do not finger cic now else they ll probably gonna take one full year to add your nickname in the file maybe once you get your PR then apply for change of name via court its pretty common i know lots of chinese friends who have done like that....

Finally status changed to :"in process" says "we started processing your application on may 24" however got rprf request on april 24,,,,,,i don't know what that supposed to mean,,,,,,no MR yet though,,,,,,,
