Anyway, I just got better news. VO emailed me this morning asking for my daughter's passport. They said they are ready to issue her immigrant visa

There is no email for Immigration that I am aware of. You have to send it via post. I was at the embassy in October and they no longer let you go up to general inquiries for anything concerning immigration. They have made it impossible to make inquiries.

hi can some one please tell me what they think it is dm or just a ecas mistake
1 m ecas change to dm but no input was updated it just say dm when i click every thing is the same
2 i called the call center they said cic requested my passport from cbsa
3my back ground check is compleate but he is saying my case is not done its still in process

so do i start pulling out the party shoe are is it just a mistake please help dont want to get to excited for nothing

My husband's ecas didn't change to In Process until after he got the letter to submit his passport. And it wasn't until a few days after he picked up his passport with the visa inside that it changed to decision made. This is most likely it! Unless your visa office in New Dehli or Manila because they ask for the passports early on.

my boyfriend's ecas changed to "decision made" it could have been yesterday, or today it doesn't mention a date, but that we will be contacted shortly regarding the decision! so we just have to wait for the letter to get here and it's all done! we are hoping it comes before xmas because we leave for the UK on boxing day and it would be great to do his "landing" on the way back into Toronto in January!

My wife got a request for passport + resume/CV today (Dec 13th). They want it by the Dec 28th. One step closer , hope they can waive interview and just issue COPR

Thanks Sweden! I think my heart just sank a little when the processing time went up another month for the Sydney VO - still I shouldn't complain, it's still quite low (9 months) compared to other VOs.

Good news!!! I've just checked ECAS and it shows IN PROCESS for my daughter . VO started processing her application on 12/6.
