The CIC processing times website says it's currently working on applications received July 4, so hopefully that's good news for you soon!

hey that is good.....at least it is an overpayment which will not delay anything and obviously your file is being looked at.....your aor/approval should be around the corner....chin up...this is good!!!

I am really starting to worry now. 8 days after my approval email. I still can not log into ECas. Should I call CIC tomorrow morning?

On the other hand, I really hope CIC will speed up for us Julyers. Seems like they have slowdown again.

Finally! I ended up getting my sponsorship approval letter by mail today. It was dated the 12 September and seems to have come from Ottawa. There is movement, albeit slower than we would all like.

Congrats llpeters! Looks like Ottawa is dealing with July applicants up until 17th.
Hopefully you are the first of a few more approvals this week!

Don't worry. I can't access it yet as well. ECAS is absolutely worthless :-\

Hi Guys,

some positive news at least.

I just called the call centre and provided my UCI only and the agent was able to confirm that my app was received on July 9th and confirmed my details of home address etc in their system. So it looks like this may be an AOR? She did say that no decision has been made as yet which is normal as they are still indicating they are working on July 4th apps.

Two days ago they did not have any information on me when I had called. So hopefully they are starting to work on the second week of July now.

Hi All: My application was received on July 3rd. I have not received an AOR, but yesterday I got an email saying that they were refunding me $965. They didn't say why. I checked my status online with the UIC number they provided and it just says "Application Received". I've been trying to call all morning to see what's going on. Why would they issue me a refund?
