congrats jovy.... my wife submit her passport and appendix a to CEM this morning of Sept. 16, 2011...

hi, i just sent my passport. how long does it usually take when they update my ecas stating that they received my passport? thanks

Hi sal-lof, according sa mga nababasa ko dati if u send ur passport to CEM thru a courier, one-two days lang po narereceive na ng CEM yun, ang di ko lng alam eh kung gano kabilis ang pag-update nila sa E-cas, i guess the next update will be the next tuesday of the week after u submit the passport...

Hello Josh how nya nasubmit anung format nya sa envelope? Pinapirma nya ba yung SG dun na meron narecieve yung SG? Update mo kami if faster ba kung directly sa CEM idrop-off kasi I live near CEM parang ang useless naman kung ipapacourier ko pa. Thanks much

There's a dropbox in the basement where you can drop off envelopes for CEM.
Sabi nila, hourly inaakyat ng security guard yung mga documents.

I live near CEM too but I opted to send my files through courier so I have a
consignee to sign that they received it.

pareho lng din kung ikaw ang mag-drop ng passport mo sa CEM or courrier mo, meron doon drop box, parang B4 ang tawag nila sa floor na yon, wag ka po alala subok ko na po ang drop box doon ng nag aayos ako ng papel ko ng papunta ako d2 Canada. hourly naman yon dinadala at saka kapag ng courrier ka, yung nasa drop box din naman na tao ang mag-rereceived non at ilalagay din sa drop box, hindi naman makakapasok sa loob ng embassy ang mga courrier staff, kaya lng naman courrier nung iba kc malayo sila sa CEM. pero ikaw po kung ano ang feel mo na masmakakagaan sau...

doon naman sa format ng envelop wla naman hinihingi na format basta tinuro ko sa wife ko lagyan nya ng name nya, address at yung UCI number nya (upper left side) then on the middle "VISA SECTION, CANADIAN EMBASSY MANILA then address", ang alam ko na may format is yung mga Provincial Nominees kc meron sila sticker na nilalagay... saka need mo maglagay ng copy ng letter na natanggap mo from them sa ipapasa mong passport at appendix a.

Thanks sis trizienne, yup have nga daw drop box dun, kasi before i applied tourist visa twice meron silang format kasi. Talaga u live near CEM lang baka magkapitbahay pa tayo hehhehe
