Hi, i'm 26 yro gay from Jordan ! Came out to my family in 2017 and i was threatened to death by my family's members ..i was lucky enough to find a job in a short period while i was in Jordan and i've been issued a UAE work visa that ends in 2021 !! i have problems with my current employer and i think they are going to fire me soon ..i travelled to KSA to apply for another job but it couldn't work ..and i'm still in UAE now but i'm threatened at any moment to leave the country ..my equastion is : 1- am i eligible to apply for asylum ? Though i have a valid work visa in UAE that ends in 2021 ?
2- being travelled to KSA(Suadi Arabia) might effect my asylum ?
3- if i apply for express entry now , does that effect my asylum if i decided to apply for it in the future ?
Thank you in advance

This doesn't sound like a strong asylum case. Typically you need a lot more than just threats from your family. I would focus on qualifying and applying for Express Entry instead.

It is better you focus on the expert entry rather than the asylum claim. You don’t have enough evidence to claim asylum.

If the persecution is only by your family - that's typically not enough. Typically you need to show that you are being persecuted in your country. For example, you would have to prove that you cannot live anywhere in your country safely.

Not particularly. It still isn’t particulaly strong grounds for asylum as already noted. Did you report your family to the police? Do you have the police reports, records of medical treatment for injuries received from them? Did you relocate to somewhere else in Jordan? To have a successful claim you will need to prove you are being persecuted, not just by members of your family. Your case is a civil matter imo.

Your best chances are to apply to immigrate.
