Hi everyone,

I'm applying for a visitor visa for my parents. My mom and dad have sufficient funds for their stay here, combined in 3 different accounts.

I, on the other hand, also have sufficient funds, but they are less readily available, as they are in the RRSP account. In addition, I also have my regular income.

Would you suggest that parents sponsor the trip themselves?

Or should I sponsor as well? In that case, how should I pledge to take care of their expenses on the invitation letter?

Thank you very much for your help!

If it’s just a TRV, it’s your parents financials that they will look at. If you are applying for a super visa, you need to meet LICO to sponsor them. A NOA from CRA of previous pay stubs would suffice.
