I was called by TCS to pay Rs 1350 and pick up a letter sent from Canadian Immigration. It contained my original transcript etc with a printed letter asking for the following

New application for permanent residence IMM0008
New background/declaration from
New additional family information form
Update Police certificates
2 recent photograph of family members
IMM5562E

AND Right of Permanent Residence fees
*No medicals yet*

I know this question has been asked before and I couldn’t find answer but why are they asking for RPRF payment without medical request?

Just in case my details are as follows

2 AOR: 22-08-10
Status: IP 03-01-12 (with same RBVO)

I applied in Dec 2009, 2nd AOR 27/07/2012. I am a Pakistani national but was resident in UK when I applied, so my application went directly to London VO, unlike Islamabad applicants whose files were transferred later on.
I hope you hear good news soon. If your papers were all in good order without anything missing, you should expect medical this month.

I personally think, although it is just my own opinion, that conclusively good IELTS results and how well presented your papers were when you originally sent them, makes you get medicals before some others who have not been very careful with their documents the first time. Also, if the work experience is at a place that can be easily checked out for authenticity on the internet for example, are processed before those who have worked in a smaller set-up.
I don't mean to say that smaller work units are invalid. Only that they are harder to check up and verify and may take longer for them to authenticate.
