Jobs criterias for work permit

Hi all,

For being eligible to apply for a work permit, what kind of a job should we have an offer from? Is there any special criteria for it? For example here in Ireland, that job needs to offer at least 60000 euros a year as the salary so you can be eligible to apply for a work permit. What about Canada?

Your employer must obtain an approved LMIA before you can apply for a work permit. That's by far the biggest criteria.
