Hi all,

I need urgent help/advice. While creating my CIC profile I had put my designation as "Commodity Manager 4" but now while trying to get the experience letter ( Note - I work in a fortune 50 company in US) I realized that my official job title is "Manager 4, Commodity" while it is apparent and obvious that these two mean same thing (and my manager said it is fine and if somebody calls the HR they will confirm that "Commodity Manager 4" means same as "Manager 4, Commodity")., do I need to write a LOE to explain this? Plz advise. Thanks.

No, you don't. But it won't hurt you to mention it in LOE, it is better to let them know in LOE so that you can sleep well at night. 8)

No need to do so. The officers at Visa Office are pretty smart.

Hey Prakash! How is your post ITA process going?

Hei Maverick my man, how are you? nice to hear from you and thanks for checking. It is going slow but steady. Medical cleared yesterday. Indian PCC will take 3 more weeks (6 weeks total, FBI PCC sent on April 10th so I guess 5-6 weeks more to get, Experience letter request sent 2 days back expect to get in 1 week. Funds proof I can get anytime. I am worried about the Indian PCC. They wanted to give me on same day, asked me to wait for an hour then suddenly they called me and told that they cannot issue same day because my passport has a police report saying 'candidate was out of station during police verification' (passport was issued 8.5 years back !!) so they aid they have to get information from India, I said my address on passport is no longer valid (nobody lives there any more) and they should go to my permanent address if they want to verify anything. they said they will just check with my passport office if the passport was issued by them or not, and I do not need to worry at all, it may take 2-4 weeks. Now it is more than 3 weeks, i called them and was told that Indian passport office (delhi) has not relied yet I told them it is unacceptable because I need the PCC urgently to get my PR going, they said dont worry if Indian passport office does not reply in 3 more weeks, we will automatically issue PCC. I said fine, so waiting for 3 more weeks to pass :(, any input on this?
