Hello everyone,
I’m currently working at a bubble tea store and about to apply for stream B (which is 30,000 applications) under job title cashier (noc code 6611). However, I read some threads on this web saying people from Tim Hortons or McDonald are considered as food attendance (noc code 6711), even example of job title in code 6611 includes cafeteria cashier, so I was wondering if my case is same as them or I could be considered as cashier 6611?
Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately IRCC will most likely classify your job under 6711 since you would be responsible for preparing customer orders. 6611 is for jobs where the only responsibility is to be a cashier and there is no food or beverage serving or preparation involved. Having said that, you can certainly give it a try.

You are not a cafeteria cashier unless you work in a cafeteria. You are a food attendant. But you can try. IRCC would have known that they would have had tens of thousands of applicants if they have include NOC 6711.

If a Tim Hortons employee tries to apply under 6611 under TR to PR, it could get rejected that is obvious, but would it be considered misrepresentation?
