Im currently working at a private high school as a marketing coordinator. Main duty is to contact agencies, design fliers, represent school to prospective students, market research and social network platform updates.

But I do not have a degree in Marketing, just in Accounting and International business. Just wondering that if this job tilte suits me, hope anyone has similar experience or applied under this job title can give me some idea. Thanks in advance!

Hey there, I applied under the same NOC and one of my jobs was marketing coordinator. Currently i do the same thing as you under the communications coordinator title. 1123 is the only NOC i could find that outlines these duties.

Not sure about thw degree issue so can't comment on that. Maybe someone else can shed some light on that.

Thanks so much for your answer, it gives me a little bit confidence for my application now!

Hi - you need to match the lead statement and main duties (job title does not have to match), but the NOC does appear to be appropriate.

The "employment requirements" do not apply (unless you work in a regulated occupation, like a doctor or nurse). So your degree is fine.
