Job seeker profile mandatory

I read somewhere on other forum that you need to add entry to job database. Is it mandatory or is it just for our convenience to seek jobs?

The forum also mentioned it must be done in 30 days (after what?). Not sure if it's correct i information.

Any ideas?

For FSW it is not mandatory. But for certain PNP applications, a job bank registration code is required.
