If your aim is to get PR, a 1 year program is a bad plan. You should study for at least 2 years so that you qualify for a 3 year PGWP.

Would add a list of which ones to avoid. Canada West TRU, VIU, FDU and other private colleges and universities. Would suggest you do your research and when you narrow down a few options you can ask.
