Hi,

I have got my reference letter from my company. However, both my positions are not mentioned on the letter although I do have the promotion letter. There's no way that I can get a new letter. Could this be an issue? My job duties in my older position match my NOC duties.

Thanks!
Bharat

So what does the letter actually say?

What I mean is, I have all my duties mentioned on the letter including working hours, full time job, salary etc. I just don't have the duration for each position that I held at the company (2 positions). However, my duties and role was exactly the same in both positions.

Do you have a contract stating you start and end date?

Yes I do. But that covers my entire duration at the company. The letter doesn't mention how long I worked for in each position..

If you have your promotion letters with you then attach it. EE does require each position you held, tenure for each position and job responsibilities. So get a letter with these would be ideal. Otherwise you can attach promotion letters and explain it in letter of explanation tab.

Thanks for the reply. I will mention this in the LOE because I can't get another letter. Do you think this can be a cause for rejection even though I include my promotion letter?

NO.
