Hello, my brother lives in Ontario and has his own alteration and dry cleaning business. He offered to take care of the accounting and bookkeeping for his business. Can that be counted as a job offer? What do I need from him to make this official job offer so I can use it in my application and increase my points? Thanks

He would need to get an approved LMIA for this to count as a job offer and for you to get point. As said above, cannot imagine the LMIA has any chance of being approved. Also, cannot imagine why his business would need a bookeeper full time.

Thanks for the advice. It is big business, and I won't be working full time for him only. I will be working for a cousin with a restaurant business as well. That would be temporary anyway until I get a full-time real job and then I will help my brother on the side.

The LMIA can only be for one job - it won't allow you to work for two employers. For the LMIA to be approved, this would need to be a full time job - your brother would also need to advertise the job and prove no Canadian could be found for the role. Suggest you look into the LMIA process - this will take time and significant money without any chance of approval.
