If you are offered a job in Canada is it up to you to arrange all the immigration/medical etc or does the employer do that?

Employer does the AEO but the rest of the process is all down to you

So what would be the best route to go? I'm an American, my wife is Canadian, we want to move to Canada, I have a job offer.
Is it best to go the skilled worker route or Family Class Sponsorship? Pros and cons? Thank you.

Why dont you ask your employer to apply for LMO (Labor Market Opinion).
This process will take about 3 months and once you receive a positive assessment, you can move to Canada immediately and start to work and once here you can apply for PR under arranged employment category.

If incase you fall under one of these categories, you don’t even need LMO:

In terms of becoming a PR - it will be fastest if your wife sponsors you through family class. You should apply outland (not inland). Outland is typically far faster for Americans.
