Hi Folks

Looking for some advice, can someone please suggest about the below scenario -
1. Claimed 50 points in EE profile based on the letter provided during the closed WP extension (assumed that it's a valid job offer for the extended duration) but it does not state the explicit wordings required for the typical offer letter mandated by IRCC
2. Now if such a letter is not accepted during the application review, just wondering if only 50 points are reduced or the entire application is rejected.

I have a situation where I'm just 2 points above the CRS cut-off without the job offer 50 points, so would like to include the job offer letter and avoid any discrepancy from the EE profile and explanation for that.

Any pointers or suggestions?

2 points above cutoff is still above cutoff / means it cannot be a reason to decline your application.

Job offer for WP can be good enough for visa officer and he count you 50 points. But this point is unpredictable. You can order GCMS notes to check about eligibility.

You can’t use the offer letter used to secure WP. IRCC website clearly states:”You can’t use the same job offer letter that you used to get your work permit”. I think only 50 points will be deducted and if your score is above the cutoff for ITA you should be fine

if your job offer is not accepted, they will rest the points. If your score without job offer is above they will continue processing the application. If your score without job offer is below the cut off, they will reject your application altogether.

You are fine.

Thanks folks.. yes the question is about the reducing the points v/s rejecting the application in case the job offer letter is not accepted. If it's former, I'd like to try the job offer letter and see if it can be accepted.

Also there are mixed opinions about the job offer letter related to WP application, so there doesn't seem to be any straight forward answer.
