Hello Everyone, I applied my application in April 2014 but I got my AOR after 4 months in September and then, they consider my application on June 2014 (Lock-in date on my GCMS notes which i applied in Oct). By the time, I applied my application under CEC I wasn't aware of people got rejection due to lack of duties and mismatch with NOC code or whatever the reason related to employment letter. I did submit my employment letter with 6 duties along with application but i believe those were not in detailed enough. So I am planning to update my employment letter with detailed roles and duties and going to submit because I am pretty sure they haven't started my eligibility section yet so rather than VO make decision on my existing letter in application and put a note to review by other officer because of duties mismatch So i would like to submit new updated letter before eligibility section start so they can consider my updated letter.

Could you please advice me, what should I do? and I am also going to post my both letter here and please have a look and review

The letter I sent with my application package was:

the point is you need do a match , with the HSRDC website duties, to check if any item left or doesn't match .

and second make sure it won't match to other NOC

and last, send this to HSRDC website contact email . to get an confirmation . with above duties, what NOC code they will give.

more step : ask a senior to help review here if he familiar with your code. in this way to avoid , your duties match multi noc .

if you update your letter, i think you need a explanation for your update .

the previous one is a mistake or else as cover letter.

Hey, thanks for reply.
Actually I did email my duties mentioned on employment letter which I sent with my application to hsrdc but they replied me back if you can provide us duties in more detail and your job title at work place then we can tell if that job title with goes with your duties or something else so I again email them duties and job title in detail and waiting for reply and I am pretty sure I would b comes under noc 2233 but my question is if I update cic with my new letter and explain in cover letter that updating employment letter with duties in more detailed or something then I won't effect negative on my cic application ?
Thanks

Thanks

based on my experience, it won't , I saw someone update them too when their application submitted.

the problem is if you can updated successfully and in time.

VO doesn't responsible for ask for more material , they ask for material only when they doubt the reality of the material.

so if you submit more material. they need access it based on all the materials. there is law regulate them.

so don't worry, just submit it, but clearly tell them to abandon the previous letter for some reason. use the new one.

of course your explanation letter should be signed by your manager too . same thing here, they can question the reality . so when sign it, provide your manger's contact information as well.

about the format , try best be humble , like proper apologize , but your reason must be clear . not like because I want to update it.

oh, you should aware the reference letter is written by your manager ( even most of time you write it , your manager sign it )

so your explanation letter and reference letter would be sounds like your manager write it .

explain detail to your manager, in case he bring trouble for you when answering the possible call from CIC ( I know someone met trouble , because they assume their manager is clear as themselves , but actually, your manager sometime have zero knowledge about how to answer the phone )

Are you on annual salary or hourly wages? Do you get overtime pays?

I hope this one would help:

Well thanks a lot guys for getting some time to reply on my post and I am on hourly bases but my main concern is about duties and roles. I already submitted my reference letter and also post in thread but I update the duties which also posted in thread and in red color. Anyone can review the letter and let me know if updated one is better than old then I can submit and I hope I won't effect anything thanks

There could be other factors as well, but I got my PPR within 6-7 months time. So, if it worked well on my application, I hope it will work well for others too. Small things might matter, as it helps the applicant look professional and reliable...

FYI, your letter only states your starting date. It doesn't show how long you have been working there, and whether you are working there or not.

Because your career and future fate is at the hand of imperfect process, procedures, and handlers, it would be helpful to yourself if you provide your documents as perfect as possible. That means you are at least minimizing the error from your side. Don't forget that these VOs are not perfect at all, could be: bad day, not focused, busy with deadlines, annoying applicants, etc. There could be from none to plenty of errors coming them. And that small unexpected error coming from either you or them might cause that unfortunate long delay. Might as well do your best on your side.

Imagine if one single VO is multireviewing 20 applications at one time. If I were that VO, the ones that are complete and spotless would be the easiest to be completed first, and move on to the next step. Just my 2cents...

you'd better change the post title to include "NOC 2233"

so pp who with same NOC code will be attracted easily and help answer you.

thanks you so much guys. Last question :p

Should I update my letter now or just wait until jan or feb because june applicants gonna get their medical in jan or feb. Because I am planning to wait until feb and then order GCMS notes and if it says duties doesn't match or something then i can update my letter because my duties match with NOC 2233 but its not in details so I am wondering they may consider my letter along with application because i remember i put exact date of employment to present.

Or should i just send it now to avoid any kind of delay because of employment letter.

Thanks

I would update now, because, you have no idea how long it will take ,they accept your update . it would be months sometimes.
