Hi guys,

Can any experience member give me a headup as me been invited for job interview while I am still waiting for Visa. After MPNP approval I decided to starts applying for job to test waters :P...you know what I mean. Now they have invited me for job interview but I don't know when I am getting my visa. Still waiting for medical and PPR.

I will appreciate any advice.
Cheers

Roll the dice and get on the plane is my advice, you must be pretty solid to get an interview from overseas. I haven't come across anyone who has had an interview when they applied from overseas. If you can get one from overseas then you'll get a few more if you're in the country.

Cheers,

OM

Well am nothing seriously solid like that may be I have MBA, couple of certifications and use to work for worldwide software giant before...but thanks I take that as a compliment ;D. I am thinking of asking them to do the interview via skype if possible. Anybody with experience with Skype interview?

@ASJ....Firstly I got a comapny in the US that did my resume for under $10 once off option then my 13 pages cv was condensed to 2 pages and very details at the same time. I sent my CV to workapolis, indeed, Monster etc. One of the HR lady told me she saw my CV from monster and she asked me if I will be interested in the job. But most importantly i used my friend's address on my cv just to try the water. One other thing is that i applied directly through career sections of company's website. But 2 companies requested interview with me directly and couples of agency. Hope this helps
