Hi people
(I posted this question on my thread in January, but I just created another to get other people's responses.)

I have been working for a production studio run by an artist for 8 months now as a full time.
I have 4 years Fine arts degree in Canada.
Back in January, I thought my job is somewhat in between B and C levels because I couldn't find a perfectly fitting NOC code.
However, several people here and a immigration agency I visited have recommended me to look at NOC 5244 - Artisans and Craftspersons (B). And now it makes more sense to consider my job on NOC 52XX because it is "technical occupations in art, culture, recreation and sport" (literally handcraft, handmade..)

I asked my boss last week about this situation, and he totally agreed with the job code due to the nature of handmade and certainly wants to support me on this.
But as it seems it is first time for him to make the Lead Statement or Job Description, it would be me who proposes my job description and he will look at it and revise it if any needed.

I was scribbling for some time for the job description, and this version is the best so far to describe my position.

Job title ; Artistic Faux Finisher (staining and painting) - Craftsperson (NOC 5244)
(*I can't find "artistic faux finisher" in job examples in NOC 5244 so I put craftsperson and will tag with the specific job title as above.)

Job duty ;
- create artistic finishing effect on sculpted artistic plaques (tiles), that are designed by the artist, using handicraft skills
- perform hand application of paints, stains, oils, oxidizing agents, solvents, varathanes and other materials on the plaques with fine arts brushes and tools
- inspect and retouch any work in flaw one by one by manual sanding, painting, or staining.
- develop new finishing skills or process for new design and collections in communication with the artist
*from time to time other tasks my be assigned around the studio, including work in other departments as needed.

Do you think it sounds good to fit in NOC 5244 (Artisans and Craftsperson)?

p.s. I still have 4 months to go to be 1 year employed, and my job duty might expand including training newbies, etc..

I appreciate your comment in advance.
