Job Bank RegistrationPending

Good afternoon everyone,

I've recently been added to the Express Entry pool and as requested by the CIC I've signed up on the JobBank.
Much to my dismay my JobBank status remains as Pending and has been unchanging since I was accepted into the pool.

Should I worry?

I've considered getting in contact with the CIC to check if that's expected, however I do not want to flood their communication means with something so small.

How long did it take for your registration on JobBank to be updated on your Express Entry profile?

You shouldn't be worried about it, mine took almost a week.

There shouldn't be a problem using different e-mail accounts between CIC and JobBank right?
I've used a different one (the one I use exclusively for Job hunting) from the CIC one.

Happened to me too. First make sure that you have activated your profile in jobbank. I remember there were two places to activate it.
Then what you can do is "fake-update" the EE profile - go and edit one of the sections, even if you change nothing the section will be marked as updated. Submit the profile again. This will refresh it and you should have your jobbank ok now.

I've went ahead and just tried that, but to no avail.
I guess it's just going to take a bit. I'll try again in a couple of days.

Update: I got an e-mail this morning notifying that my profile had been updated.
My JobBank account is now active and everything is good.

It just takes that long.

The validation code is in the first message you receive once you submit the profile.

Access your CIC profile, scroll down to the messages, expand the JobBank one and click on the link.
That will allow you download a PDF file which will contain your code.
