hello everyone, another good source of info which i am able to research is that there would not be any particular list of occupations for May 2013 applicants, here is the link for the reference:

So, the new Skilled Worker Program will be limited to applicants in NOCs 0, A, & B, but won't be limited to particular occupations.

hope this info clears doubts of many in this forum. If not, then wait for the official annoncement

I just got back from the UK last night and haven't checked any CIC news whilst I've been there for 2 weeks, so I missed this news and only just found out today!

Of course, the obvious reason for choosing May 4th as the opening date is so we can say to the new applicants "May 4th be with you......."
