Hi,

Jason Kenny re-confirms 12 months goal for routine applications ,on twitter.

Lets hope things will start improving in future, although I believe they have already started to streamline this process, which is being reflected in timelines of some new cases.

HI newcomer also hes said below...

@rq_blog Our goal is a 12 month service standard. Current time is 23 months, thanks in part to a massive increase in # of new apps last year :(

May be you are right but I do believe ,even if its a false promise. They cannot do it for long and make a fool of the tax payers for an extended period.Sooner or later, they will have to improve this system.I am not saying it will be streamlined in couple of months but we may expect any positive change by next year or so ,especially before next elections.

That is what I hope for too... But they tend to promise all what people want to hear, but then they always find an excuse to turn in other way.

Non-routine is 35 months...same for those who got RQ
wonder if it is from the time of submitting original documents
or from the time of submitting RQ

shows the processing time from receipt of application to final decision for 80% of cases processed, so it is from receipt of application not the RQ documents

So I guess there will not be any fast processing cases any more?

Well there might be (although, not very likely in near future) as this was the processing time for the applications which were processed from April 2012-March 2013.As record number of RQs were issued last year,so this delay was very likely.
