The application is for my mom. I contacted the MPs office within Canada. If you are outside Canada, I am guessing you can try to figure out the MP of the province you are visiting and send an email to them.

I applied for my BF who is in Dubai.

since he had previous refusal


What is the possibility of getting visa since we showed almost 17 k dollars in his account whereas i showed 75 k dollars in mine.

Secondly this time i sponsored him whereas last time we applied just as a visitor


Any idea on possibility of getting approval and timeline for response?

I gave my email, so I received a notification that there is a update in the portal and saw the ppr in the portal itself.

Sorry for a side topic question: If we have an approved work permit and a Valid passport, we’re planning to give it a try crossing the border from Buffalo, NY to Toronto by land. Could you please let us know if you foresee any issues with that?

My parents applied for visitor visa from Mumbai (first timers)

Application submitted date - 16th Apr 2025
Biometric Completion Date - 21st April
Passport Submission Request - 15th May 2025
Passport Submitted to VFS - 16th May 2025
Est time to receive the passport is 21 working days from date of submission.

Mother is homemaker and father is retired. Bank account and investments are in joint account. Apartment ownership is also in joint account. They have valid US visitor visa and visited US in 2022. They were UAE residents for 25years and moved back to Mumbai in Oct 2023.
