I haven’t got pre-arrival yet, anxiously waiting. My application was received on Feb 1st, 2021
I am Jan Applicant. AOR 2 is on March 26, 2021. Medical passed on July 9. Waiting for Pre arrival, DM and PPR. Nairobi Visa office.I’m waiting for it
hi, I wanna ask if the Sponsor has past relationship history and had a divorce. if she applies spousal application for her new husband is that application is also processed with the normal timeline or dealt with differently.

Biometrics Requested - June 28, 2021
Sponsor Eligibility Letter - June 28, 2021 [File moved to New Delhi Visa Office]
Medicals Received - July 12, 2021
Biometrics Received - July 21, 2021
ECAS says - We started working on your application on July 22, 2021
Pre Arrival Received - Aug 12, 2021
Any idea how many more steps to go for PPR, and if that's the only step remaining is it fair to say that it's roughly 3 to 4 weeks away at max.
PS - It's great to see on this forum that those who sent their applications Late Dec or Early Jan this year are receiving PPR's, prettly much ahead of stipulated TAT and standard expectations. I wish others who are waiting, all the very best in their pursuits.

So, DM and counterfoil and COPR, can you elaborate once again what each of those steps looked like for you?
We received PPR and sent out the package last week, but from Abuja, and DM is stated in both ECAS and GCKey. What exactly is counterfoil and COPR, are they physical documents or stamps? Or? Just wanting to get a better picture of what to expect.
When can you come to Canada now that you have COPR? Any time?
Counterfoil is the Visa stamping placed on PA's passport; however, on GCKey PA will receive an update 'Document Status' displaying Name, UCI, Document Number, Passport Number, Approval and Expiry Date.
When PA gets passport you'll see the stamping/sticker on one of the pages.
COPR is a document which outlines personal, application, medical, sponsor and dependants details - to be shown and activated by IRCC Officer to declare PR status in Canada. Other relevant information for when PA arrives in Canada is also attached to COPR.
PA can travel anytime; before Visa or Medical expires whichever comes first I believe.
