Do you mean 2020 or 2021? If you sent your application in 2020, then you should definitely call IRCC.

If you sent in May 2021, you probably need to wait for a little longer. Currently, people who sent applications in Feb., Mar., Apr. 2021 are receiving AORs. Many still waiting. Not a lot of news for May 2021 applicants. But maybe more good news starting this month. Just be patient if your AR date is May 2021.

AINP - AOS - PNP online.
AINP nomination received on NOV 2021

Hi guys,
Can I have a medical exam done in advance to speed up my application for PNP(OINP)?! I’ve been waiting for AOR!

Yes. Many people do upfront medicals. I guess the suggestion is not to do it too early. Medicals typically expire in one year unless there is special public policy. Nowadays the paper-based PNP takes roughly a year to get AOR. So you may need to redo it when your file is processed if you do it too early.

Looks like you wait 24 hours after AOR before trying to link.

I am curious how the AOR and medical+biometric request is communicated for paper-based PNP applications. Does IRCC send a physical letter to the postal address or do they send an email?
