Yes, as per current trend, PAL issue after 45 days of medical pass and PPR 45days after PAL

Already received PAL in December with medical request, unfortunately medical perlonged due to a spot in chest xray and now got clear after 3 months.
After medical passed 1 month passed

Yesterday I called IRCC and answered was we had file in system and checking background and we let your Consulant know if we need anything and AOR and but not any visa officer assigned yet.
My AR 29 march 2021

After that none respond
Pls let me if someone have brief information how’s processing working and I am inland
How long need to wait for till CORP?
Because I saw some people are waiting from 2020 and it’s so frustrating long wait.

Yes it's frustrating, but toughen up and deal with it. Current processing times are 27 months, so any less and you're lucky.

Its a long process, initially they will send you AOR that means all initially required forms and documents are accordingly and officially file assigned to any VO and processing begins, next step they will review eligibility and once eligibility complete they will start Background Checks that comprises in 2 stages. Once documentation verification stage completed they will ask for medical tests and at same time criminality and security checks begins. Next step is PPR or COPR.

Update: I received my PR Card today. And the photo status is still "In preview with IRCC" in the PR portal.

More than waiting the worst part is waiting without knowing what's happening without a clear picture what to expect.. you just keep hoping everyday that something will happen...

So what is meaning of we are doing security background check but still I don’t have AOR

My sister applied for PR under PNP Economic Program online application on June 9, 2021, residing in Saskatchewan. Does anyone have any idea how long will it take to get an AOR number? Please advise.
