Hello all,
Can you help me please,
2 week's ago i received email that I have been nominated for the Provincial Nominee Program Nova Scotia under Skilled Worker Stream, but is written that I must apply to IRCC using a paper application form.
My question is can I apply for PR online or it must be with sending papers by mail or courier?
I'm already in Canada with my wife and my daughter almost 1 year, I have all the documents I also have made biometric, only medical we need to make,
Does anyone have a similar situation or have knowledge about the processing time?

I don't think you have a clue what you're talking about. Why would IRCC set up an online portal for PNP and get you to apply online and offline at the same time?

@Tommy7 you can apply through one or the other - just apply for it online to keep things easy. Not sure what this dude is talking about but it isn't correct.

@moscatojuices Did IRCC mentioned that they can apply through web portal? NO, They only mentioned paper based and provided address to send application to NS. That's why most applicants are applying both ways to avoid any issue in future, if anything happened only @Tommy7 Will face consequences not u

So firstly, the IRCC doesn't mention anything. Tommy got the letter from the province instructing him to send his application to the CIO in Sydney and to find the detailed instruction package for his provincial application online. When you go online to the PNP page, what does it tell you? https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/provincial-nominees/application-process/paper.html

In big, bold words: "You can now apply online".

The portal in conjunction with the PNP application package very clearly asks for the exact same documents as what is expected to be sent on paper. There is no statement from within the portal or IRCC's website that states, to your inferences, that applicants must apply both online and offline.

I applied online and received my confirmation of application submission straight away, and there are people on this forum who have applied only online and received their AORs.

Did all the February applicants receive AOR? My AR was 22 Feb 2021 and I haven't received yet

I have noticed from various forum post/trackers for SNIP outland paper based PR applications which were received in feb 2021 have received their AORs in Jan/feb 2022.

If your application to the province was not linked with Express Entry profile in the beginning you would have to send application by mail or courier as requested. When you receive AOR, you then be able to link your application online. However, if your PNP application was linked to express entry profile from the beginning, you may not need to send PR application my mail or courier

It means you need to check ur emails regularly including spam folder, take action when u receive any email from IRCC, now just chill and wait for further action
