@Rijo02, Thanks for checking things up. Unfortunately, at this point, I have not received yet any test invitation. According to the new tracker system, My FP were received on April 11, 2021, and my Background verification changed from in process to completed on Apr 12, 2021. On the other hand, Language skills, Physical presence, and Prohibitions are still In Progress. As such, the status of the Citizenship test and Citizenship ceremony is Not started. In addition, the last time that my Citizenship application Status was updated was April 23, 2021. Hopefully, things move in the near future. BTW, anyone in a similar situation, or any insights on what's going on. Thanks!

Finally retest completed and accepted by officer .. I am hoping next couple of month SK office will schedule ceremonies

Hello everyone. Jan 2020 applicant. Everything has been updated to 'completed' on the Citizenship Tracker with the final updates entered on July 28, 2021.

How long does it typically take until you receive the ceremony invite from IRCC?

@newww, I can understand how challenging the wait can be.

I was actually drawing parallels with recent observations which can be either true or mere coincidence.

Recently, I observed that IRCC has invited candidates to do the test after 4 months of completing the BG. Hence, yours should be by next month if the trend happens to be true. But even if the trend is not as I assume, you are pretty close to receiving your test invite (everything being equal).

Keep the hopes high and start practicing for the test now!

So after talking to ircc, my application is well under the time line as it was received in dec 2019 .
seeing as my tracker hasn't moved since April. was told i should have an answer hopefully by 2022.

Hi All, how long would it typically take for the citizenship certificate to arrive after oath. And is it true that during the oath you need to cut your PR card using scissors? If so, how could one travel till the citizenship certificate and passport are issued? Thanks.
