Feb 2021 applicants have already started getting FP requests.
In case anyone hasn't noticed...

Same way how 2019 was(/would have been noticing in 2020) that later applicants were being attended, and now its our turn to talk about cic on why we are not attended and instead they attend later part of 2020 and even worse moving on to 2021 while our applications are pending.

I dont know what to say about cic. They are just some dept functioning for the sake of getting immigrants into the country, no other purpose/importance given. Getting immigrants alone is the motive hence it doesnt matter if X Y Z are brought instead of A B and C, for them its just head count, not about who comes in the order which applied for. We are just a case number in the system hence adjudicating Case 1 or Case 1000(before case1) is same.

True.. thats exactly what i was thinking too. Now, with elections coming up, they will get as many as possible for vote count and they won't follow an order.

Please can you help my citizenship status went in progress on july 19 . They said to attend oath ceremony on august 3 .
They again updated on july 23 .
but still i did not get any offical email how to attend ceremony.I am worried what to do next .. is any way i can contact immigration department?

You will get it 2-7 days before the oath date. So you will have to wait till 1st.

Yes, we got the DM July 20 and haven't heard anything about the oath date. The new tracker still says in Progress and the old ECAS says DM.

Most people don't get a response. I never did get a response, I submitted it on July 12th (Mississauga office). Applicants from some other office mentioned they received a response so I think this procedure is office-specific.

I submitted 12 April. And still no reply or movement on tracker

My status has changed to DM on old ECAS on July 8th. No update after that. I think we will hear about Oath only towards end of aug or early sept.

i have checked everyday since 23rd April , and nothing moves at all , i even called and was told to wait and be patient, also sent an email and, i have no reply. . i think the saskatoon office is enjoying there summer holidays as its been really hot in saskatchewan this summer !! , i think i will probably have a reply in September lol. only did my test in February .
so i just wait it out .and read everyones adventures with this process and congratulate everyone that's got to the oath stage .

My oath is on. 3 august but problem is still i did not get any email confirmation.
