For question 12, did everyone include the tax year 2019? Asking as we cannot yet file taxes for 2019?
So, do I start from 2018 and go backwards?
Or, start from 2020, 2019, but check No for the 'Required to File' and 'Taxes Filed' columns?
I called IRCC helpline for that and they told me to include 2019 and answer no to filed. As long as you have 3 out of the last 5 years filed, you should be ok.I actually started from 2018 and went all the way down to 2015 (they asked for previous five years, so 2015 is the fifth and final previous year) and I stopped there.
Filed my taxes from 2015 to 2018
That's 4 years of tax filing
But now I'm worried since I did not even include 2019 in that question.
Can anyone please confirm if this is ok??
I hope they just look at the fact that I filed for 4 years and understand that I cannot file 2019 at the moment.
In retrospect, I should have just include 2019 and done "Required-YES" and "Filed-NO"
CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM THIS FOR US PLEASE?
Hey Alice, it appears it might not be a big deal. This person also forgot to sign his photographs. He did not mention whether the application was returned to him and he was granted citizenship.I forgot to write name at back of my photographs.. what to do.. no aor yet.. applied in jan 2020
if you look at the spreadsheet for January applicants, it seems Jan applicants received their AORs sooner than the applicants from other months. Last year In 2019 it was 53 days I believe, while applicants from other months had to wait a lot longer.Based on the spreadsheet, it's looking like 3 months from the time your application was delivered until you'd get an AOR
