So, got the biometrics request this morning (tracker updated).

My wife is American and currently living with me in Toronto (goes back to the US every couple of months).
Wondering if anyone is aware of an option to do the biometrics at Pearson? From what I've read, I don't believe that's an option unless they are a student or have a valid work permit, but trying to see if there are other options?

If not, can we simply go to an ASC in Buffalo, NY get it done and come back? Any concerns with this?

Buffalo will be fine as you can't give biometrics in Canada unfortunately.

I got this line 4 update under ecas Sponsorship.

We sent you correspondence on March 27, 2019 about the decision on your application.

I haven’t received anything yet. Any idea? I still dont have any update under PA side, except for 4 lines with last one medical received.

That’s sounds like a late SA update on ECAS lol but hopefully it’s a sign someone is viewing your case

POE is only eligible for first-timeapplicants of Study/Work Permit. I’m in Toronto too I'll be going to an ASC in the US.

In the letter it states:

Note: If you received this letter you must give your biometrics beforecoming to Canada and are not eligibleto have your fingerprints and photograph taken at a Canadian port of entry. If you are already in Canada, you will have to leave the country to provide your biometrics.

Wife’s medical is this Saturday. Is there any specs for the photos requested for medical that you all are aware of?

35mmX45mm but if the doctor’s office has eMedical facility then they will take the photo themselve.. better to confirm by calling them.. some of them also ask for copies of PA’s passport.
