Thank you icewizard we send it to mississauga and after the approval it will transfer to abudhabi im a bit confuse in that actually im a filipina currently living in dubai and im planning to go home mid this year as im finishing my contract this coming july should i request to transfer it in manila or the abu dhabi is ok? Anyone having same situation? Pls. Suggest

Hy Chechay... sorry i can't say, i'm not knowledgeable enough. But definitely don't forget to ask for a criminal record in UAE before leaving it for Phillippines...

1. Logged in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Common-law)
2-a, I selected Family Name, Given Name, Birthday (This is Principal Applicant's (PA) info).
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. I am sponsoring my common-law partner, no dependents.

I still wasn't able to get it through though (maybe it's too early). How long after you were sure they received your application by courier did you manage to connect your application? 5 days? 10 days? more?

Umm they received on the 3rd and I was able to link it on the 11th

I never got an email stating AOR, I heard that there are chances they don't tell you, just have to keep checking with ecas and mycic

Mine was received on the 3rd of January
I'm apart of the December thread because we sent it in December, but due to a major issue we had, they didn't receive it until the 3rd,
I'm already able to link my spousal application, but I haven't received AOR1 yet.
Hope you can link yours soon too!

My wife's application package was received on Jan 06, but haven't gotten any AOR. is it sent through mail or email? how did you link your spousal application without AOR?

I wasn't able to link mine with the Date of birth and Name yet. They got mine on January 4th

Great we have the same timeline mine was received by 8:40 am today aswell by D.David by courier lets hope for the fast process..

Hi All,

I have a quick question for all the experts on here.. I know this is the Jan 2017 forum but i couldnt find December 2016 thread so I thought I would ask someone on here.. I am a Canadian citizen and my wife is a Japanese citizen currently living in Japan. We applied for her PR outside of Canada and have been waiting since. We applied on Dec 5th 2016. Thsi is my current status on the CIC website for her application.

We started processing your application on December 12, 2016.


Permanent Residence
We received XXXXXX's application for permanent residence on December 5, 2016.

Medical results have been received.


Can someone please tell me what this means? I know I have already been approved as a Sponsor but what does this update mean?
