Hello guys, i just check my ecas (sponsor) and it says "desition made" but on mycic there is no notification of aproval but "currently reviewing" anyone has been in the same situation?

Yes! Same thing since Friday... DM for sponsorship, and now PR is "currently reviewing". No SA or even AOR1 as yet though.

Ugh, this wait is so nerve-wracking! I hope I get AOR1 soon. My ap was received Jan.25th but I still haven't gotten any reply. I can only imagine how much more grueling this all was when the processing times were even longer ???. How long are we supposed to wait until we should contact them about our application? I think someone mentioned this on the forum but it says nothing on their website.

You should definitely here something by the end of the week. On line it says 22 days for sponsor's decision made. I just linked on line by using my official receipt and found out that I had a decision made on my side. Good luck! It says they sent me confirmation in the mail, but I never got that letter.

It's on the receipt from when you paid the fees. Try linking it and let us know if it works.

I wouldn't take 22 days as gospel. It's been 31 days for me and we're still waiting for sponsor approval. I think there is someone from the December group who is still waiting for SA as well.

I have no problems accessing e-CAS. Nothing has changed on there, or with my husband's account, since they started processing our application. I guess we're part of the unlucky group who waits and chews their fingernails and waits some more.

I looked up check application status and under the first section it says, identification type, I used receipt number, because I don't have my file number or UCI number yet. I used the receipt number from the fee payment. Next question is identification number, surname/family name, birthdate and country of birth (for sponsor). Its all under "my application"

I agree they should make it more obvious. I remember noticing when I would check with my application number when I applied the first time around. There are a few different options for identification type.

I agree but on line that's what it says and that's what they try to do unless there is an overload of files I guess. I bet you will hear something soon!!! You are long over due. I found out on my own, I just went on line and checked with my receipt number. I found out way past 22 days!

My application was received on Jan 31 no Aor yet. I tried to open account with cic but i keep getting a message that no application was found. I don't whats going on

It's a tricky thing linking that application. It took me a long time. Don't get discouraged. Many folks have trouble with it. This is the info that seems to be the most successful.

Application Number
Family Name (PA)
Place of Birth (click the box as if you're going to type something and hit the space bar once, leave the box blank)
Country (PA)
Where you will reside (sponsor's town and province)
Number of People (2 worked for me - myself and my husband)

Thanks! Yes, without this trick .. specially on a space (single spacebar) in place of birth and no. of applicants as 2 (includes PA and sponsor), it is really a hard job to get the account linked. These 2 tricks helped me get my account. I researched in other threads too and this is the most popular way to get it working. Also, I left the passport information blank.
