You guys are so lucky and blessed. I sen mine in before most of you. Application received jan 5. But so far i have not received aor1 yet it is so depressing. How do they figure out which application to open first?

Update on our app .. received AOR 2 from New Delhi office today

we applied in the new process and haven't submitted upfront medicals , hopefully that is the next request.

Guys, anyone sent after Jan 18 got AOR or were able to link their apps. Seems most people who sent before hat received AOR in 14 days or so. CIC received my app on Jan 19 according to Canada post, but no AOR and I am not able to link my appl. Starting to worry if the are sending my application back or something.

1. Logged in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Common-law)
2-a, I selected Family Name, Given Name, Birthday (This is Principal Applicant's (PA) info).
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. I am sponsoring my common-law partner, no dependents.

This worked. Also I want to know when do I apply for my spouse's quebec immigration? I have received an email from the CIC saying they have received my application.

sorry if its repeat question -- im not too clear, there is a limit of max 20 pictures? I have more than 20.

Someone mentioned with new application there is a limit of 20, but i didn't find it anywhere in the guide :S

And now I'm seeing people who sent their apps in at the end of January and the beginning of February who have already gotten SA. I wonder if the people going through so quickly are using the new kits? We used the old kit and sent it in right after Christmas. I would think they would be doing the old kits first to get rid of them. I'm starting to feel penalized even though the cut off date was still over a month away when we mailed our application.

No every case is different they recieved mjne on dec 21 and i only got AOr till now and i used thennew forms.. No sA yet!!!!
