I got my CSQ today through regular mail. :D
A small question for the ones who are having already, in the letter they say I should send the CSQ to my applicant. How many of you sent it? You think its really useful? FedEx rates are scam going to Philippines, and I don't trust Philpost.
DHL is a good option, they are associated with LBC.

Marticus, I ordered the GMCS notes for the applicant (spouse) and myself because I wanted more insight on the strength/weaknesses of our application - red flags that an officer may have highlighted for the VO to consider. Knowing that sooner rather than later could help us to prepare if we were requested an interview or if we were asked for additional docs which we could better prepare now, I could also share that information with our lawyer. Apparently these notes are very brief and not too helpful though.

Somewhat unrelated but I've read for those who have had interviews and have been rejected, the notes officers write that summarize the interview are often slanted and missing information on the applicant's/sponsor's strongest supporting evidence. This makes me think officers are discretionary about what they write in notes and that they are not very interested in being transparent to support applicants/sponsors in the process.

Ok so its a tie now between FedEx and DHL. ;)
Does anyone of you Phils applicants/sponsor used the "hold at location" option? Is it possible in Phils?
I would need that since my wife doesn't have street address.
Aniabella, Im not planning to see her again until PR unless I get an unexpected entry of money. I do plan to fetch her there once she gets visa to help her in traveling/landing process.

My wife just used an Internet Cafe close to where she lives. Talked to business beforehand to see if Ok to send there.

Hey, I also got my sponsorship approval on the same date as you but different visa office (I have not received AOR from them yet). :) The contact details for your visa office in New Delhi should be found in the sponsorship approval email or letter. You can mail the documents to that address using trackable mail. Also include a cover letter with your name, birth date, File number (starts with F), Client ID # and ask them to kindly attach it to your file.

Can anyone tell me how a person knows his/her application was forwarded to a Visa Office if that VO doesn't send AOR? Does the SA email tell you that your application "has been forwarded to....."?

Comes in the SA, Right to Sponsor Approved. Permanent Residency Application forwarded to VISA Office overseas for further processing.

Hi, monica again this side, well my application was sent on 31st january
And my husband got an email that they received the application and my sponsor meets
The requirements, hence the file has been forwarded to new delhi visa office, my question is my husband got a different letter with a different uci number, and when i check his status it shows decision made, and in my status it shows application received, why is it different in both of our status, and when will i get my ppr request, as how many days after application received in new delhi visa office they ask for passport

Hi monica, I'm not sure I get the thing about the 2 letters. Your sponsor should receive 2 letters, one stating they received your application and the other one stating your sponsor meets the requirements, this is the sponsorship approval.
Once this is done, your ecas will show decision made for your sponsor and application received for the applicant for a long time. The decision made is about sponsorship approval, not permanent residence.
The processing time for New Delhi visa office is 13 MONTHS and ppr is late in the process so don't expect that anytime soon.
I recommend you read the New Dehli thread for a better view of the timeline.

I am guessing on what happened.
In the same SA letter, there are two numbers. One for the sponsor and one for the applicant.
The status when you log in as a sponsor (sponsor number and his info) it shows decision made (decision about HIS application to sponsor. In another words that the SA has been sent). In the same screen you can see that with regards to the applicant the info has been received.

On the other hand, when you log in using your info (number starting with the letter "F") it shows application received.

They seem contradicting each other but it is actually the same thing.
In short, decision has been made for your husband's application to sponsor hence the SA.
Your application for PR just received.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I would like to updated my spreadsheet:
March 21 - Sponsorship Approved

Thanks :)

Nice! Congrats, good luck with the rest of your app :)
I'm trying to update the spreadsheet but it doesn't seem to want to load for me.
Edit: There we go! Updated :)

Just wanted to say - you guys are doing an awesome job with this spreadsheet!!!

Argh, this waiting game is really frustrating though. I've been checking ECAS daily, so has my partner and there are no updates at all after the medcials received update.

I think the next update would be the AOR from the visa office, correct?

I don't understand.
Looking at the excel (very well managed file I must add) it seems that visa offices can request a passport without even sending a VO AOR?
