Hello guys!
I have been reading up on your forum for 1 or 2 days but as they say every case is different therefore i am putting mine for observation and comments.

10th-2004-70%
12th-2007-47%

Worked from April 2008 TO June 2009 in Gurgaon

BA from EIILM Uni 2009-2012
66%
Final year exam in Sep2012, result declared in Feb 2013, marksheet allotted in Jul 2013 (Some administrative concerns forced the uni to close down for 3 to 4 months)

Worked in the same company as above for 8 months after giving my final year exams!

Ielts- 8 bands(academic)

Now I have applied in Doughlas College, BC, for Post Grad diploma in Marketing as i am not eligible for Master's(3 year degree).

Area's I am concerned about:-

1. Completed 12th in 2 years with a low percentage(Bad company!)
2. EIILM Uni in news for all the wrong reasons, I dunno if my degree assesment will be effected by that or not
3. Company in which I worked is a small one with 10 to 15 employees, and its a Construction company but I was doing marketing jobs there.

Cheers mates!

Hello,

I am also aspiring to get admission in Jan 2014 for PG diploma course in Human Resource. I have around 3 years of work experience in HR and I have done MBA in HR too.

I am preparing for IELTS right now and will appear for the test in Sept 2013.

I have already applied to following colleges:
1. Humber College
2. George Brown College

Any suggestions or tips anyone??

university of windsor : M eng in civil(got admit)

Dalhousie university : M eng in civil(waiting)

Carleton University : M eng in civil(Waiting)

My profile:
10th: 89%
12th: 94%
B.tech : 74.51%

IELTS: 6.5(R-7, L-7, S-6, W-6)

Memorial University of Newfoundland: BA Geography

I've been accepted for January admission, have my visa sorted am just waiting on accommodation now.

I'm British and live just outside London. Am really looking forward to crossing the Atlantic. Most countries are cheap for home students and expensive for international students doing degrees; England is expensive for everyone so it's going to be cheaper for me to go to Canada and experience something totally different for the next 4 years of my life. All very exciting.

Yu have masters already and why you choosing Post graduate Diploma which is way less than ur previous study.... Please be ready to answer this question in ur Statement of Purpose for the VIsa. Sure that is a negative mark in ur profile when we think of Visa. Please choose a degree which more than yur previous one. Its just an advice.
