I applied in Sept 2013 intake under SPP and got rejection for reasons: travel history, do not satisfy officer of leaving after study permit is over, course irrelevant.

Should I reapply for Jan 2014 intake as a Non SPP applicant and can I use my GIC funds from the SPP file for my Non SPP file?

Hey guys, I am planning to apply for Jan intake and I am confused abt which colleges should I apply, I've visited quite a few agents n I always get a feeling they don't know much so I thought of taking the matter in my own hands. And does anybody know the reasons for rejection of a visa, m quite scared after some guys posted about their rejections. My profile is quite average

Your profile seems good to me. You should give it a green signal and apply. Do not think about the rejections just make sure you have enough finances to support yourself during your stay in canada.

You can use your GIC funds to apply under general. If you want to apply again write a good sop and try to make your case even stronger.

I am Again Screwed by CIC

Got refusal again with same reasons, not a single letter or word changed.
-Will not leave canada
-Purpose of visit
-Family ties
-Proposed studies cannot be considered as logical progression.

#Applied in september under SPP category-
#got refused with the above mentioned reasons
#Applied again on 24th Sept in general category --
#passport dispatched on 26 sept--
#received package on 27(Rejection)

New to the forum. Here's my profile.

12- 66 (PCM)
1 year drop after 12th.
B.E in CSE. Had 15 backlogs in all. Dint study much. hated it. Cleared it in 5.5 years instead of 4. Cleared Dec 2011. Since then, I have been in a job with NIIT ltd. As an instructional designer. Gave IELTS. Got 7.5. Writing was 6. Rest all were 8, listening was 8.5.
Got into Humber for project management. Waiting for TRU, MBA.
What's my chance of getting a visa under general category for Humber. Also, its a 8 months course. Does that equate to 8 months work visa or am I not eligible?
