I know January is still a while off, but I am already collecting my documents ready to send.

I'd wait until the actual new details come out! The biggest difference for me when I applied was pre-2012, you didn't need to provide Supplementary Travel details and it's a pain to gather that information and I know several people that applied in early 2012 using the 2011 checklist and their files were sent back and applications were further delayed.

Oh ! So do you see a case where the updated CIC forms could be available only later in Jan ?
While the policy changes (to be effective 01 Jan 2013) are to be announced either this month or Dec, we could definitely see a gap between the annoucement and the new/ updated forms availability.

What do you mean by "joining letter" ?? A reference letter from your employer should include:
- specific period of your employment with the company
- job title
- main responsibilities / duties
- salary
- hours worked per week

From my perspective you need to ask for a copy of your IELTS results, check their site to see how. And as well, you need to check if your scores are enough for the kind of NOC you are applying.
Afterwards, you can send all your papers together again.

Hello Depak,

Generally you get two copies in original when you get official IELTS score. I used one when I applied FSW and now I am using the second one ..for CEC..

I never knew there were gonna be some announcement in the end of October, as far as I know all the rules and laws are gonna change in January. However, the announcement is gonna be made in the next month someday in December.

And if I understand your question right, my answer is FSW changes are way different from CEC. On FSW program there will be more requirements and on CEC only 24 months to 12 months is gonna change Hopefully.
