Nothing new on my end! =/

Called the call centre and spoke to an agent this morning, and according to him, the fact that there was no specific note yet on his computer system most likely means that they didn't return my package to me (which is a good thing). He also said that I should hear from them soon, as my package arrived at CPC-M on 30 Jan, and they're currently working on apps received on 29 Jan...

Just called the Call Centre regarding my Search of Citizenship. Even though we listed it as urgent, the guy on the phone said he doesn't see anything that says its an urgent case. Awesome...... I really hope it doesn't take an actual 5 months to get me this piece of paper. That would mean I would get it in June! Plus the addtional time it takes to get the passport. What if I get an email from my VO requesting copies of my passport before that time. This would be a good story for the "Paranoia"-thread. :-\

It's a system that will notify you when your Ecas updates. I figured it saves us from checking one more thing haha, now we can all just worry about checking our email and mailboxes. I havent tried it yet and I wanted to see if any of you have used it before ? Is it safe??

Hi guys! I was offered that Canadian job I applied for!!! (and they offered it to me on my birthday yesterday!)

So, I'm not sure where to ask this question family or work forum. It's for a senior level position that I feel qualifies for NAFTA temp-work visa under Business Consultant but if it doesn't then my husband's company can sponsor me and it would be a true Biz Consultant position because I would be a consultant being paid by his company while working for the one that offered me the job. Do you know if I can try both ways at the border or do I only get one chance? I REALLY want this job not only because it brings me to Canada quicker but also because I have admired the company (worked along side them) for 5 years and feel it would make for a great long-term career.

I know this isn't the right place to ask. Perhaps I'll post in both places.
