So we're starting a new year and need a thread for this month. Sent my package back off today again (former May applicant, see explanation here: CLICK :o Case processing center Ottawa, American under common law outland application. Been in Canada 1 year and 7 months thanks to an extension. (minus 3 weeks)

If anyone wants to start and manage a spreadsheet for Jan applicants I will add it to this original post, I'm not too skilled in creating them/maintaining them so any volunteer would be peachy.

Good luck to all!!! Here's to a fast processing year!

Feeling a little lonely in here, eh? I will hopefully be joining you in the next few weeks... just getting all the stuff packaged together and waiting for my UK police certificates. Then, it will be a double, maybe triple check, and off she goes. ;D

Can't wait for you to join me! :)

I'm 7-10 days away from joining you as an in-land applicant. Waiting for Option C printout and then I'm sending mine to Vegreville!

Awesome!! Good luck to you!

Bumped since it's getting lost in the shuffle ;) Tracking says my package was received on the 4th.

We will be joining you in two weeks is my guess! Waiting on police cert also!!! Got everything ready to go!'

I will also be joining you hopefully in the next few weeks. My last package of information is heading the attorney today. He said about 2 weeks to get my application compiled and then he will mail to me to sign then I send to my wife in Canada to pay fees, put the receipt in the envelope that fees are paid and then it will be sent on to the powers that be!! I just made a post and asked a bunch of questions. If anyone can read it and give me advice I would appreciate it. I still am waiting to do medicals and will be sending off FBI request soon (I sent in my FBI copy of clearances for my job to show that I don't have a record and will send the official clearance once I receive it). We also don't have out marriage certificate yet, will be able to apply for that in February after the 12 weeks is up. We got married November 24th. I hope they will accept the packet without this information. Here is a link to my other post in case anyone can answer the questions:

I'm looking forward to chatting with all the new applicants. :)

Hi there,

we already sent our package last Saturday - a common law outland application!

Good luck to everyone in getting all the paperwork together!!

Soon now... I have my medicals on Thursday and everything else required to package the application up. Big weekend ahead of us. Very exciting!!! :D

Hopefully we'll have someone who knows spreadsheets join us soon ;)

Mine was also a common law package for outland.

I feel rather proud (silly, I know) to quite possibly be the first of 2013 to hit their offices - maybe :o lol I've been dealing with this since last May (see my first post in this thread, there's a link to my CIC horror story *sigh*), ready to get it over with! :P

Great! Good luck to you :)

Hey!

I can create a spreadsheet for January if you want ( you can see in my signature the one for December, I could create the same for January if you want), but somebody would need to be in charge of it. It's nothing complicated, and I'm willing to do the "technical support" whenever needed (doing that for november and december, so january can just be added!), but I don't want to be the one updating it, as I am done with the PR process, and my time on the forum varies...

Anyone interested in maintaining the spreadsheet? It comes with a detailed explanation :-) and it's a good opportunity to learn how to manage a spreadsheet! :-)

Let me know,
Sweden
