YAY! We received Sponsorship Approval today! :D

I asked my husband right after I saw the other posts this morning and he was like "I will let you know as soon as it comes in" (aka, stop asking me). That was at 10:30am, he received the email at 11:30am but was in a meeting until now so my excitement is 5 hours delayed. YAY!!!

Omg, that was almost the same way with me. Before we went to the doctor, I was like "A lot of people are getting status updates today." (I had friends get PPR, COPR, etc.)

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Ahhhhh congrats!!!!

I'm extremely jealous as we sent ours the same time and nothing yet :-(

Well, we have had our AOR but nothing else since then. I am unfazed. As far as I am concerned, the application is in a black hole and they will tell me something when they have something to tell. 8)

Ditto.

Got my sponsorship approved today...That wait was killing! But I am so glad it came!

Right now, I am kinda confused as to what the next step is? when the information is transferred, do we get something from the visa office?

That is a pretty quick Stage 1. Congratulations!
I think some people get AOR from their VO, but some just get updates on ECAS (which is not up-to-date most of the time).

Congrats! If we're lucky, we'll get second stage AOR. If not, hopefully next request is PPR. (And not additional documents needed!)

That is, unless you didn't submit a medical. They will ask for that before PPR.

And the dreaded interview.......ew!

Lets hope none of us need an interview! What is the estimated time from sponsorship aproval to passport request? Anyone have a clue?

Thanks Iay...

To everyone else waiting for their stage 1 aor and/or approval, I am praying for each and everyone of you. I know how it feels to be in the limbo. I know this is just the first stage and there is more to come but we are all in this together! Hold on and be patient, it will all work out. I know I kept freaking out this past weeks when the approval wont come on and I saw everyone else getting theirs. Thanks to my hubby who kept encouraging me.
We are all going to laugh about this in the coming months when we all get our PRs!!!

Here's MzTee sending y'all some love :-*

Hi Everyone!

So as if I wasn't stressed as it is! I checked ECAS this morning with all the great news of everyone receiving approval and my sponsorship section changed from application received to "decision made" and then it says " we sent you a letter Feb 18 regarding the blah blah blah.... But I got no email ( I received an email for the AOR alright but nothing....could they really have just sent a letter by mail instead of email?

Is this a bad sign?

Worried.

Did anyone else not get an email? Is this something I can call and ask?
