Can somebody explain what is this?

"Please be advised that your Confirmation of Permanent Residence is ready to be picked up.

Please arrange for pre-paid courier service to pick up your documents."
This means you have been approved and need to pick up your landing paperwork! Or you can mail them a prepaid envelope to mail it to you. Congrats!

Hi all! I am LANDED! I wanted to write a little bit about what it was like for me since I had so many questions before I went through it...

We crossed by car at Peace Arch Park in Blaine, WA/Surrey,BC. When we drove through we said I was there to land. He asked us some questions about our drive to Los Angeles, how long we were gone, what we bought, any alcohol or tobacco. He told us to park and go to the building. We went in and waited about 10-15 minutes. We were called up and we presented our passports, and i gave my COPR, two copies of my B4/B4A, and the photos I took of my jewelry and my piece of paper with where i wanted my PR card sent to. He didn't want the paper with the address as he said he already had it on my documents. He didn't want the photos, he didn't even look at them. He didn't look in the car at all, as he said that they do that mostly when there are expensive things, but since my most expensive thing was the wedding ring i was wearing, he could already see that. We waited maybe 10-15 more minutes while he entered stuff in the computer, then i signed the pages of the COPR and B4/B4A. He told us a bit about the time requirements and how to get SIN and medical and we were on our way. From the time we entered the line-up at the border in the car, to when we drove away it was almost exactly an hour.

He said the was thankful that we were prepared, so I thank everyone on the forum for helping us be ready! :D

Congrats!! My husband lands next Thursday night and my daughter and I will be with him. I am nervous, can't wait till it is over.

Thanks for the answers :D but my passport is with me and I am now in Canada, I don't need to have a visa to fly to Canada. Does it mean I don't need to send them a passport? I am here living with my husband. Can I ask them to send all the papers and documents to Canada? and if yes, do I need to go thru customs somehow?

The email should have given you specific instructions. Just follow them. You dont have to send your passport if you are visa exempt. Just send them a prepaid waybill so they can mail your COPR. Just read the letter in detail.

Can anyone tell me what does "in Process" means.
Does it means that visa would be issued or does it mean they CHC is evaluating for whatever decision they might take .
Most importantly is it possible that decision can be negative if it is in process on ecas?

Puja,

in process means they are working on your file and soon will come up with a decision.

dnt worry, worst case scenario if your case goes above there head they will call you in for an interview, but if its strait-forward u ll soon see decision made...

stay positive and do share your time line..

i think "in process" means, interview has been waived.
according to information gathered from this forum, flow chart of PR application is
spousal approval--ecas shows DM for sponsor and application received for applicant
PPR----ecas shows application received and medical results have been received
interview/additional docs request------ecas shows application received and medical results have been received and interview scheduled
interview waived or approved--ecas shows "in process"
ecas shows DM at the end of the process and applicant receives PP with visa stamped and COPR within 10 days.
