Finally...its Finally over

Called CIC again and still no records in their system and sent an email to Mississauga to ask about our application and asked to wait for 2-3 weeks
i said that our package was received at CIC on jan 26 and was signed by DAVE at mail room. she replied in funny way and said that "ohh confirmation from courier company doesnt mean that your application was received "
do you have any idea how long it will take to get reply from Mississauga after call center agent send an email to them?? ?? (cic is supposed to email me back after they find my application)
is there any more approval for january applicants this morning or last night??? ??? ???
anyone called CIC?? any positive response regarding your application??-
CIC call center is a mess of useless agents, i think its a "no profit no loss organisation" CIC does not pay any salary to agents, they are just on training there to get some experience how to handle angry, worried, stressful and helpless people like US, they just check your ecas and tell you same thing """NO RECORDS"""
we know very well that ECAS does not work properly even after getting approval

I can't say that I share your frustration because I am still in the early stages of the waiting game, BUT, I do understand your anger. What you need to do is call every day...and if it were me, I'd call every hour until I got a proper confirmation...and I would ask to speak to someone in charge...

You'll be fine...I know it sucks hearing this all the time, but really, you'll be fine. They're just bogged down, still not an excuse, but just try and keep your head up...you'll be getting news soon...and keep calling them!! Don't let those fools at the call center throw you off...be persistent, but be polite...

we know very well that ECAS does not work properly even after getting approval

FS is right!!! u will get it sooner or later and at some point u will talk with a friendly proffessional agent....i would call every day or maybe twice a day (at start of it and end of it)...ur package did arrive, Dave signed for ours too

anyone called CIC?? any positive response regarding your application??-

Hi ash, I just got off the phone with CIC . I put extra sweetness in my voice and this time the agent was very friendly. He said that they have been working on my app for two days now, and are still working on it, so call back again next week if I don't get an email soon.

I think I'll call back again this afternoon, and will call twice a day until I get that approval email .
