Funniest things...I do not see any link....

I am very anxious for what Tuesday has in store for me...Some friend of mine said..."If the agent said they sent the whole package then it means I am missing some signature...but if she said they sent you a letter..it could either be approval or requesting some other document"

I hope the first one is true...Worst case it still takes 2 more weeks to get everything done... I dont want this options although i would be left with no choice...

hello.. if you were able to log in to your ecas... well I think,.. your application was approved! keep your fingers cross and wait for that letter that the cic agent told you about.. well I am saying this because I have read from most of the post and threads plus base on my own experience that once you are able to log in to your ecas you are one lucky surely approved applicant.. :)

Congrats to everyone who has received their approval already, and best of luck to everyone still waiting!!

I am sponsoring my spouse. and already sent all the documents(except Singapore Police report) which CPC-M has already received. My wife stayed 4 yrs in Singapore. And according to CIC website Singapore government does not give Police report without official immigration letter . Our VO is New Delhi. They told us that VO will send official letter to my Wife and She has to submit them to Singapore Police, they will then send police certificate directly to New Delhi, VO

Just wondering how long this whole process will take ? Really appreciate if any can put some light on this ?

Thanks

congratulations karlaF :)

Hey everyone.
My partner received an AOR this morning, (Australia time).
But it stated that
"This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/01/11."
It sound weird, like as if he was the person apply for the PR not the sponsor.
Just want to confirm that it is normal.

First off...congrats!

Second, I'm pretty sure this is normal, based on what I have read from other threads over the past few months( this question has been asked before). I think they refer to the application in whole, rather than just acknowledging the sponsor on their own. I wouldn't be worried...it's amazing that you heard from this quick! ;D

It's so exciting that a good amt of you guys have heard from cic. I can only imagine this week we will be seeing a lot more posts like this one! Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to be one of those members.

Happy family day!

HELLO ALL,
I HAVE A BROTHER IN ONTARIO CAN HE SPONSOR ME AND MY FAMILY.

If you post your question on the main board you're more likely to get a response.... :)

HI alf+jlh Thanks for doing the spreadsheet and all the work that goes along with it.... I would have probably done it myself.. but my hours at work right now are crazy... I put in 12 hours on this Family Day :) I figure that I'll work most of all now, and less when my family is here... Makes the time go by quicker too.. but the amount of people getting a response is amazing! The colour coding is a great feature! Wishing you and all the others in our group the best!!! The February people are watching us like we're watching December :) hehe
