I filed 2 months after you so i know every case if different but if we remain in the same timeline..ppr would come by august 25th and passport received september 25th...interesting. Gives me hope!! Hope the move goes well Amanda!! Keep us posted!

My application was received on Jan 26th. I got an email saying that i was approved as a sponsor on May 4th. does anyone know how long it takes for the immigration in Canada to send the files to the visa office abroad?
this is becoming so stressful.
Last year files were processed in less than 3 months.
its currently been 5 months and i havent heard anything else from the immigration office
our files are being processed in Ankara which there is a waiting period of 6 months. Is anyone else in the same situation?

The average processing time in Ankara is 6 months. If your file was sent there on May 4th, you may receive an interview call or passport request around August. If you are an Iranian citizen this may take longer.

received GCMS notes yesterday and got reason for interview also

reasons are-
- TRV rejection before applied for spousal sponsorship
- sponsor didnt return to Canada at date given in forms
-VO not indicated on the medical report
-No biodata on the back of photo-id
any suggestion will be highly appreciated
