CIC updated waiting time to 53 days...processing applications upto Dec 22. So I guess we still have one more week to wait until it hits January.

i dont think it matters becoz ND and mississauga both offices are sleeping for last few weeks but someone said in another forum that they send important docs and application forms through internet and application package via courier later. so they will transfer your file to NEW DELHI on the same day of your sponsor's approval.
BTW whats your timeline

I submitted my app on Dec 28 and CIC recieved it on Jan 3rd. I did not get any email.... I am starting to panic ???

Don't panic...you are following the other recent months threads and they too have sporadic approvals.... Also based on cic's timeframe they are clearly doing their own thing.

It will come for you soon.... Stay calm, but most of all stay positive!

I wish I could stay calm...Just saw someone in Dec thread got approved and they sent their app on Dec 30 which is 2 days after me...This is really tough

Yes, it came today at 6:35 PM EST. There is one problem though, email states that they received my file on Jan 5, 2011. They have entered date as 2011 instead of 2012 (typo). I hope it doesn't negatively impact my file.
